SXD won "Nobel Prize of Fashion"

Competing against more than 3,000 applicants, SXD was honored with the Global Change Award in Stockholm, Sweden. We were the sole Design Winner and are proud to see our Zero Waste Design technology receive international recognition.

SXD creates custom designs for Snap

Partnering with Snap, we helped them switch their corporate gifting to zero waste products. We created custom SXD Zero Waste Design Vertical Totes for a major company event, including custom dye with zero water waste and a print of the zero waste pattern.

Jin Ho Lee joins our engineering team

After reviewing over 150 resumes, we are so excited to welcome Jin to the team as our summer engineering team hire. Jin will focus on expanding the Zero Waste Design database of our machine learning product, so we can bring more great designs to the world!

SXD and LimeLife by Alcone Launched Size Inclusive Zero Waste Collab

We launched our latest collab collection: LimeLife by Alcone x SXD, made by climate refugee seamstresses. The size-inclusive line spans XS to 4XL, with a unique zero waste pattern for each size category. This kind of sizing without fabric waste has never been done before in the fashion industry.

After competing live in front of esteemed judges in Austin, Texas, SXD won the top prize at the 15th Annual SXSW Pitch.

We delivered successful Proof of Concept for leading European brand

We transformed four of the brand's best-selling items into zero waste ones. We estimated fabric savings of more than 41K meters and almost $150K in savings!

Shelly and Colleen visited Bangladesh

After 20+ hours of traveling, SXD’s Shelly and Colleen arrived at the SXD corner of our Bangladesh manufacturing partner. Working with them, we have been transferring the cost savings from efficient Zero Waste Designs to pay climate refugees 2-4X the local wage as seamstress talents.
